Set up and use

How it works.

  1. 01

    Mount the housing

    Fix the housing inside the sink cabinet, near the cold water supply.

  2. 02

    Connect the supply

    Connect to the cold water line with the installation kit supplied. Many customers use a plumber.

  3. 03

    Fit the tap

    Install the filtered water tap on the bench or sink.

  4. 04

    Flush and use

    Flush the new cartridge as the manual describes, then pour filtered water from the tap.

Change every 6 months.

Biotect Ultra is rated for 2,300 L or 6 months, whichever comes first. Fluoride pre-filters every 3 months.

well made but some aspects of the install are a bit fiddley. example is the two mounting holes in the top part are very difficult to get to even with the top removed so i cant tighten the two screws. another issue is the filters need to be screwed in before the housings are fitted, which if its not mounted…

How often do I change the cartridges?

The 9B04 fluoride pre-filter every 3 months. The Biotect Ultra every 2,300 L or 6 months (manufacturer's instructions).
